In this beautiful season of golden autumn, Window to Global Trade(Short as “WGT” )welcomed the Honorary Head Association of Nine Genera of Thai Overseas Chinese associations to visit Hainan and jointly carry out discussions and exchanges. This visit not only helped accelerate the process of building a "global home for overseas Chinese businessmen" at WGT, but also deepened the mutual understanding between Hainan and Thailand in the field of economy, trade and culture, and injected new vitality and impetus into the internationalization process of Hainan FTP.

Under the warm reception of Liu Xinyu, Executive Director of WGT and his team, the delegation first visited the one-stop service center and the 30-floor boutique exhibition hall. The improvement of these facilities provided convenient business services for enterprises at home and abroad, and further promoted the landing and development of enterprises.

In the ensuing panel exchange,  Director Liu gave a comprehensive introduction to the guests of the construction of the two headquarters bases of Hainan FTP, as well as the advantageous policies in taxation, law, industry and other aspects. He stressed that the Hainan FTP, as a new highland of China's opening up, is welcoming the arrival of global enterprises and investors with an unprecedented open attitude. As an important business platform within the Free Trade Port, WGT has been committed to providing one-stop and all-round business services for domestic and overseas enterprises. Currently, with the support of Hainan Overseas Chinese Federation, the project is actively building a "global home for overseas Chinese businessmen" to help global overseas Chinese enterprises quickly land in Hainan and share the development dividend of the free trade Port.

Director Liu also shared the building formats, operating results and future development plans of WGT. He pointed out that with its unique geographical location, perfect supporting facilities and professional service team, WGT has successfully attracted many well-known enterprises at home and abroad. In the future, WGT will continue to deepen cooperation with all walks of life at home and abroad, promote the landing of more high-quality projects, and contribute more strength to the prosperity and development of free trade ports.

When talking about the prospects of cooperation between Thailand and Hainan, Director Liu said that Thailand and Hainan have a wide range of cooperation space and complementary advantages in agriculture, manufacturing and other fields. With the continuous and in-depth development of bilateral economic and trade relations, bilateral cooperation in relevant fields will surely embrace broader prospects. As the Southeast Asian Investment Center of Hainan Free Trade Port, WGT is willing to become a bridge and bond for the economic and trade cooperation between China and Thailand, build a platform for exchanges and cooperation between enterprises of the two countries, and promote the cooperation and development of the two sides in deeper and wider fields.

WGT is one of the gathering places for international organizations, overseas institutions and enterprises supported by the Hainan Provincial government. The Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Hainan Province supports building a "global home for global overseas Chinese businessmen" at WGT, actively promotes the cooperation and exchange of global overseas Chinese businessmen, and serves the high-quality development of Hainan Free Trade Port. The arrival of the visiting delegation of the Nine Honorary Heads of the Thai Overseas Chinese Association is not only an affirmation of the comprehensive strength and influence of the window of global trade, but also a promising prospect for the future development of Hainan Free Trade Port. WGT will take this visit as an opportunity to further promote the economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between Hainan and Thailand and Southeast Asian countries, jointly create a new chapter of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation and development, and help the prosperous construction of the two headquarters bases of Hainan Free Trade Port.
