On February 8, the group of Thai-Chinese Commerce Association (TCCA) visited Windows to Global Trade (WGT)  and participated in the "Hainan Free Trade Port -Thai-Chinese Commerce Association Discussion and Exchange Activity". The signing of strategic cooperation between WGT and TCCA at the event marked an important step in promoting economic and trade cooperation between the two sides.

at the event, WGT introduced the core policies of Hainan Free Trade Port and the "two headquarters bases" in detail. With the special tax system of "zero tariff, low tax rate and simple tax system" and the free and convenient open system, Hainan has greatly improved its international competitiveness, not only simplified the trade process of enterprises, but also reduced the investment cost, and created extremely favorable conditions for the development of enterprises. At the same time, from the tropical agriculture, health tourism, clean energy development, new energy vehicles and auto parts industry and other fields, in-depth analysis of Hainan-Thai cooperation has the advantages and opportunities. WGT also relies on international operation experience and professional service team to provide a full range of one-stop services for Thai enterprises landing in Hainan.

Subsequently, Wen Jie, vice chairman of TCCA delivered a speech, introduced the basic overview and business philosophy of the association, and stressed that the preferential policies and high-quality conditions of the Hainan Free Trade Port have great attraction for the development of overseas enterprises. Chairman Wen Jie said that the association hopes to establish long-term friendly cooperative relations with Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Hainan Province, Hainan IEDB and WGT, actively build an efficient exchange platform for enterprises of the two countries, vigorously publicize the development opportunities of Hainan to Thai enterprises, promote Thai enterprises to invest in Hainan, and promote the common economic development of both sides.

The Thai-Chinese Commerce Association (TCCA) is a non-profit social organization established with the approval of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, and is composed of elite overseas Chinese entrepreneurs in Thailand and China. TCCA was established in July 2017 with a Chiang Mai branch and EEC Eastern Economic Corridor Branch, with more than 200 members from 25 different provinces and cities in China. The Association is committed to building a platform for information exchange, resource sharing, financing cooperation and rights and interests protection for its members and Thai and Chinese enterprises, and plays an important role as a bridge in China-Thailand economic and trade cooperation and production capacity cooperation.

WGT signed a cooperation agreement with TCCA

Under the witness of the guests, WGT and TCCA successfully completed the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement. The two sides reached a consensus on cooperation, and will establish a regular cooperation mechanism, promote the sharing of information resources through the construction of multiple platforms, and comprehensively promote the in-depth exchanges between Hainan-Thai and Thai enterprises in the fields of economy, trade, culture and other fields.

Leaders of Hainan IEDB pointed out that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, the recent frequent high-level visits between China and Thailand, and the Hainan Free Trade Port has also established the goal plan of integrating into the development of ASEAN countries, and the free trade port policy is gradually landing and optimizing. Under this key opportunity, this signing will inject strong impetus into the cooperation between the two places. We hope that all parties will take this as a new starting point, deepen exchanges and contacts, and jointly promote the international cooperation between Hainan and Thailand and even ASEAN countries to a new height.

Leaders of Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Hainan Province said that the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Hainan provincial government will soon hold the Chinese Overseas Chinese Investment (Hainan) Conference in Hainan in November. The conference will comprehensively and deeply introduce the policies and advantageous projects of Hainan Free Trade Port for overseas Chinese businessmen, and promote the accurate matching of resources and efficient cooperation.
