According to the official public account "Sunshine Hainan Net" of the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, Hainan's tourism economy opened up and stabilized in 2024, and it received 97.2 million tourists throughout the year, a year-on-year increase of 8 %, of which more than 1 million inbound tourists were received, a year-on-year increase of more than 100%; the total expenditure of tourists was 204 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%. Among them, the number of inbound tourists has achieved significant growth, demonstrating the strong resilience of Hainan's tourism market.

据海南省旅游文化广播电视体育厅官方公众号“阳光海南网”消息，2024年海南旅游经济开放企稳，全年接待游客9720万人次，同比增长8%，其中接待入境游客100多万人次，同比增长超过100%；旅游消费总额2040亿元，同比增长12.5%。其中，入境游客数量实现显著增长，显示出海南旅游市场的强大韧性。
