Recently, the business delegation of China General Chamber of Commerce in Australia Melbourne Branch visited WGT, and participated in the "Global Overseas Chinese Delegation - China General Chamber of Commerce in Australia Melbourne Branch Business Delegation Discussion and Exchange Activities" jointly carried out by Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Hainan Province, Haikou Foreign Affairs Office and WGT. In the event , WGT and the China General Chamber of Commerce in Australia Melbourne Branch signed a cooperation agreement at the event. The event effectively publicized the advantageous policy of Hainan FTP, the "two headquarters bases" and the construction of the home for global Chinese Enterprises, and further deepened the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Hainan and Australia.

In the research activities, the members of the delegation visited Investing in Hainan -One-stop Service Center,  Home of Global Chinese Enterprises, the 30-floor boutique exhibition hall, and experienced the professional service. Through visiting the enterprises in the building, they further understand the preferential policies and development advantages enjoyed by foreign-funded enterprises in Hainan FTP.

In her speech, Huang Wenhui, ice president of Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Hainan Province, warmly welcomed the arrival of the delegation, introduced in detail the "Home of Global Chinese Enterprises" that Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Hainan Province is promoting, and sincerely invited Australian overseas Chinese enterprises to actively participate in the 2025 China Overseas Chinese Investment Conference, which is to be hosted by Hainan Province to share the development dividend.

Zhao Jun, general manager of WGT, said that the project, as the first carrier of Hainan Province's hundred-country enterprise investment plan, will actively cooperate with Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Hainan Province and other units to do a good job in the investment landing service of overseas Chinese enterprises.  Manager of One-stop Service Center introduced in detail the construction progress of the "two headquarters bases" of Hainan FTP, as well as the distribution formats of institutions and enterprises in the building, the service platform and functions of the whole life cycle of enterprises, and also expressed the warm welcome and expectation for overseas Chinese enterprises to invest in Hainan by sharing the service cases and project development plans of enterprises.

WGT and the China General Chamber of Commerce in Australia Melbourne Branch signed a cooperation agreement at the event, marking a substantial step forward in the cooperation between the two sides in the field of economy, trade and investment. In addition, this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of China-Australia comprehensive strategic partnership. Under this opportunity, the conclusion of this cooperation will be more conducive to promoting the effective docking of resources and injecting new vitality into the international investment of Hainan FTP.

Jiang Nan, Secretary General of the Victoria & Tasmania Branch of the China General Chamber of Commerce in Australia, said that the Hainan FTP has unique policy and geographical advantages, and the prospect is very promising. They look forward to the joint efforts of the China General Chamber of Commerce in Australia, Hainan Overseas Chinese Federation of Hainan Province and WGT to build a bridge of communication between Hainan and Australian enterprises, deepen cooperation mechanisms, and help enterprises of the two places to expand cooperation space in international trade, healthcare, health care, education, finance, biomedicine and other fields. She also said that the follow-up plan is to link more entrepreneurs to visit Hainan, in-depth understanding of Hainan's various advantages, and find more cooperation opportunities.

The representatives of the delegation said that through this investigation, they have a deeper understanding of China and Hainan, and will further discuss the cooperation with the team and Hainan. At the same time, they also expect to establish contacts with enterprises intending to cooperate through the help of Hainan Economic and Development Bureau and other units, and realize the landing of enterprises in Hainan business.

As an important supporting project to attract investment in Hainan, WGT will actively cooperate with Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Hainan Province and other units, give full play to the linkage effect of government and enterprise, build an international business opportunity docking platform, and promote the effective docking of resources and the landing of enterprise investment. Continue to support the construction of Hainan's "two headquarters bases", help build a "Global home for overseas Chinese businessmen" platform, and do a good job in the service and security work of the 2025 Global Overseas Chinese Investment Conference which is to be hosted by Hainan, and contribute to the construction and development of Hainan FTP.
