From May 4th  to 10th May 2024, Windows to Global Trade(shorted as “WGT”) participated in the Hainan economic and trade delegation to carry out economic and trade exchanges in Saudi Arabia, Italy and Malta, and participated in the "China (Hainan) - Italy Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference". The delegation carried out a series of promotion activities via visiting industrial parks, enterprises, connecting with local chambers of commerce and government agencies, and organizing closed-door meetings on consumer products, which showcased Hainan's economic vitality and investment potential to the international market, as well as sent a positive signal of Hainan's commitment to open development and win-win cooperation, assisted in building "two headquarters bases" in Hainan.

Economic and Trade Promotion Conference, Help to Inject Strong Impetus into China-Italy Exchanges and Cooperation

On the afternoon of May 9th , the China (Hainan) -Italy Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference, sponsored by the Hainan Provincial Government and supported by the China Italy Council Foundation, was successfully held in Milan, Italy, hosted by CCPIT Hainan Provincial Committee, CCOIC Hainan Chamber of Commerce, and Italy China Business Association.

Mr. Mario Boselli, President of the  China Italy Council Foundation, Ms. Stefania Zambelli, Member of the European Parliament, Mr. Liu Kan, Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Milan, and Mr. Yao Lujie, General Representative of the CCPIT in Italy attended and delivered speeches.

The conference has been highly valued and widely participated by all sectors of Italian society. More than 130 people, including Infieri Srl Culture and Education, Azmul Yachts, Recordati Group, Menarini, Saisen Pharmaceuticals, Cassie Pharmaceuticals, ISTITUTO MARANGONI , Ferretti Group, Zambon Pharmaceutics, Amalart, IEED Europe, and other world-renowned companies from yachting, tourism, medicine, education and other industries, local business associations, overseas Chinese leaders in Italy, and media journalists, attended the conference.

Hainan International Economic Development Bureau(Hainan IEDB), Hainan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, Hainan Boao Hope City International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration, WGT and key industrial parks has promoted the policies, high-end consumer products, international design island, tourism, biomedicine of Hainan FTP. WGT introduced the construction of two headquarters bases in Hainan, the convenient investment environment in Hainan, the distribution of overseas institutions and enterprises settled in the building, and the one-stop professional services for enterprises to land in Hainan Industrial development.

At the economic and trade cooperation promotion conference, representatives had a positive interaction and strong response, and they said that they would organize a group to conduct field research and exchange visits to Hainan FTP as soon as possible, look for cooperation opportunities, and participate in the construction of Hainan FTP.

Signing a Memorandum of Cooperation to Promote High-quality Development

At the conference, CCPIT Hainan Provincial Committee, CCOIC Hainan Chamber of Commerce, and Italy China Business Association signed a memorandum of cooperation, establishing a bilateral cooperation mechanism between the business communities, which will help enterprises of both sides carry out cooperation and exchanges, share the opportunities of Hainan FTP, and enhance mutual friendship. At the same time, Hainan Boao Hope City International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration and Rui Kangdi Pharmaceutical Group, Hainan Lecheng Real World Research Institute and Sciclone Pharmaceutical Holding Co., Ltd. also signed a strategic cooperation memorandum.

Participating in Closed-door Meetings on Consumer Pproducts to Discuss Cooperation

In addition, WGT participated in the closed-door session on Consumer products of Hainan FTP, organized by Bank of China Milan Branch. Many well-known enterprises such as Maserati, Armani and Versace had in-depth exchanges with Hainan IEDB, discussing the preferential policy conditions of Italian enterprises in Hainan and the platform of China International Consumer Goods Expo. More Italian products will be introduced to the Chinese market.

This year coincides with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Italy. The visit of the provincial government delegation to Italy has further deepened the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Hainan FTP and Italy. While gaining cooperation projects and enabling the construction of the Hainan FTP, it has sent a strong signal of China's opening up and injected strong impetus into China-Italy exchanges and cooperation.

WGT, as the first carrier of Hainan Province's Hundreds of Nations and Thousands of Enterprises plan, will continue to link the advantageous resources of the project in the future development, build an international business opportunity exchange platform, and help domestic enterprises "go out" and overseas enterprises "bring in".
